Quick Start-up Guide
3.1
Total Recall
·
Check the contents of the Total
Recall package
(refer Section 2.1-Unpacking). Ensure your recording connections are in
place.
·
Connect
the Total Recall recorder
to the input line(s), and connect the power cord.
·
Turn
on the power with the switch at the rear panel.
Note: The internal
power supply is auto sensing (100VAC-250VAC, 50-60Hz).
·
Wait approximately 2 minutes
for Total Recall to complete its start-up.
·
Adjust the contrast of the
screen by holding down the <#>
key and pressing the <UP> <DOWN>
arrow keys.
·
Default Password is 0000.
·
Go to the Options Menu
by pressing the <MENU> key
twice.
·
Select General by
pressing <SELECT>.
·
Set Language, Time &
Date, Password (if you wish to change the default password).
·
Select Return.
·
Select Line.
·
Set desired “Line”
Trigger, “Mon” (Monitor) and “Beep” settings.
·
Select OK to confirm.
·
Select Archive.
·
Set desired Archive settings
and then select OK.
·
Press the <MENU> key once and locate the Logging Menu.
·
Use one of the phone lines
connected to the recorder and make a test call.
·
Check that the call appears on
the Logging Menu, showing “C”
in the status column.
·
When finished, enter the
password if required, position the cursor over the call and press the
<SELECT> button to replay the call. Adjust the speaker volume using the
thumb wheel on the front panel.
3.2
Remote Recall
·
Insert the Remote Recall
CD in a multimedia PC, and follow the set-up instructions.
·
If the install did not Auto start choose Start/Run/D:/INSTALLREMOTERECALL.EXE
(substitute another CD drive letter if necessary).
·
After installation, the Remote
Recall screen will
auto-load on the PC. Remove the install CD.
·
Insert an archive CD with
calls that have been created on Total Recall.
·
Click the CD icon in the top
left corner of the screen. An Options to Customize dialog box
will open, listing the archived sessions on the CD. Select All
or any number of the sessions and click OK.
·
The window will show the calls
loading from the CD, followed by a listing of the call details in the Remote
Recall lower window.
·
Find the desired call(s) using
the search options.
·
Highlight and double click on
any call. A dialog box will appear showing Converting the Call,
and then the call will automatically play.
·
Once the call is playing, use
the control buttons in the Call Player window to control the
replay of the call (Play, Stop, Forward, Reverse, Pause), and
also to select the Next or Previous call.
